Vieve

The thing about working as much as I do during the summer is that you never see your friends or family. When the summer is over I start to wonder if any of them will still be my friend. So when I txtd Genevieve and asked her if she wanted to get together and she responds "Yaaaaa! It would be awesome to see you!" I was happy. So she came over the other night to hang out. Andy is out of town so we stayed at my place, watched movies and drank vino.

I had rented a handful of movies. We started with Mamma Mia, and I realized the reason why I haven't watched it yet (read: don't bother renting this one). Neither one of us were fans. Then I don't really remember where this idea came from, but we ran to Blockbuster at 1053hrs to pick up It's Complicated before they closed at 1100hrs. I really liked that movie, except for Steve Martin, was kinda awkward, but overall the movie had a good feeling. Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin were awesome together.

Genevieve stayed over until 2am. It was so much fun. I miss my friends.

Now at the risk of her hating me, I'm posting this picture, and at the risk of her really hating me, I'm scrapbooking it too (I've already printed it!).

And back to my non-drinking kid filled life... I think we go to Costco once a month, or maybe it's once every two months, but it's always a fun trip and a big part of my memories with the kids. Vinnie is great, he loves to sit in the shopping cart, or lay underneath. Sometimes he falls asleep too, but that was before Leo. Leo is surprisingly good in the cart too. You always have to come prepared though. Toys, snacks, travelling blanket, water cups, even the changing pad comes in handy when Vinnie wants to lay in the cart and needs some padding. It helps that Costco servers samples too when you're there for lunch.

Andy and I always buy way too much, but it's always fun, and more fun with the boys with us.

Life's changed

I was going through my scrapbook from 2007 and comparing it to last year, and things sure have changed. Lots less drinking, lots more kid stuff! It's been almost two years and I'm still getting used to it. Love all the products. All the accents are from K&Company.

On another note our tickets for Disneyland Halloween Party came today!!!!! Super excited. Andy and I are taking Vinnie to Disneyland, and on Halloween we're meeting my sister, and she's coming with us for the whole trick or treating experience. Trying to convince her to stay an extra day too. Going to be lots of fun whatever happens! Four days in Disneyland you cant go wrong. Although I need to figure out a costume for trick or treating in disneyland. All of mine aren't really Disney appropriate...

We're trying to think through all the rides that will be there and what Vinnie knows and doesnt know about. So we watched the old Star Wars movie. Vinnie was able to learn where his costume from Halloween last year came from, and now will know something about Tomorrow Land.

We've told him that Disney Land is the place where the movie characters live. We mentioned Mickey and Minnie, Nemo, Tarzan, and then his eyes light up and all of the sudden he's at super attention and he asks "Is Wall-E going to be there?" I sure hope so!

Flowers Flowers Flowers

I think I'm just better at one photo layouts. I really liked the way this one turned out and it's probably the quickest layout I've done.

Still going through all the photos I printed in March. Working on another layout that I should finish today. This photo is also from March and big thanks to Anna for taking it! It's the only photo of the four of us we have, but not for long! Going pumpkin hunting this weekend and guess who's coming with us?!?! The most fabulous Tatiana. I just hope we can coordinate some good weather and work around naps. Then I will have lots more photos to scrapbook!

Having such a hard time getting anything done lately and all I want to do is sleep. I pulled out my Halloween decorations today, looking forward to hanging those up. I have this stuffed pumpkin and you push a button and he giggles and then says "Happy Halloween!" I love it!

Silly

This must have been the second weekend we had both the boys at the same time. These pictures are from March 19th. Centuries ago! Looking through the photos from that weekend took forever! We took so many pictures when we first had them. Since then we've taken a lot less, but still lots of quality photos. I love my job, but it's really nice when things calm down and I can take pictures, scrapbook and enjoy my life again.

Anna took the pictures. Vinnie's never had whip cream straight in his mouth before. He thought it was hilarious and yummy!

Heading off to LA and Galveston this month. We have the boys this weekend, hoping we can go to the Pumpkin Patch and carve pumpkins this weekend, and I'll pull out my halloween decorations. I'm going to print some more pictures and try to get some scrapbooking done before the weekend starts. Also I took my house off the market. It wasn't selling, and there were people coming through every day. It was getting really hard to live in. This way we can actually enjoy our life while we're here. It does mean that the house we wanted to buy we will no longer be buying. It's okay though. It's just a house. We'll find something else. Meantime I got all my scrapbooking supplies and I can decorate the house and that makes me happy!

Also Ali Edwards has started her December Daily. I was iffy on whether or not I would do another one, but I think I've decided it's a fun tradition. I do want a different size though. Last year I used 6" x 12". I don't like that size. I do like the size that Ali has picked this year, and the design idea. If anyone is interested click here to see her design. It'd be fun if I wasn't the only one doing it this year if any one wants to join in!
